Back to the hashtag#Sports agenda this week, after a bit of a mini break focussing on the wider social and economic issues facing Loughborough, Leicestershire and the country. It has been useful to put into context the 'sport and physical activity' lobby in this wider context! The @llep Business Board Kick starts in mid September too!
A good opportunity with friends from across the sector and the teams from my Board chair roles Sport for Development Coalition and Active Together. I think I manged about 40 conversations, but still way too many people I missed, so apologies! And really great to see some new faces and Loughborough Alumni Loughborough University key people along with the Sports Minister Stephanie Peacock MP.
There is much to do to make progress on the hashtag#takingthelead campaign so looking forward to following up conversations
