A lovely morning with Leicester City Council Mayor SPS officially opening the new units. Pleased that the LLEP through the Enterprise Zone had been so heavily involved in this initiative.
It was just 18 months ago we all stood on the site with 'The spade' photo opportunity so well done to everyone involved. Pleased to see the first tenants in place and if Dock 1 is anything to go by this will be full soon.
As Sir Peter said there have been a cynics along the way about the investment in high tech Space Jobs in Leicester, but as Space City is showing we have an important role to play and further growth is possible. Our task is to ensure we have the skilled workforce locally to take the opportunities.
Well done to everyone involved.
