As Chair of Leicestershire & Rutland Sport Andy led the case for extra support for the sports economy through Sport England and the LLEP. Now in post Ali Clements is helping local sports businesses through Leicestershire & Rutland Sport with a series of business network events and links into the LLEP.
The Sports economy in Leicestershire is important and still growing. We have plenty of high profile brands like our professional clubs and Loughborough University but we have hundreds of SMEs and start ups. We want to help these grow and flourish.
